Notes

Issued between 1968-74, this cast-wheeled version contains:

’Zebra-striped Land-Rover with an intact circular ‘LIONS OF LONGLEAT’ label on the bonnet. Open hatch on the cab roof shows the keeper complete with the (usually missing!) rifle.

Also included is the plastic lion’s den, correct with two male lions, one female lion.
Three portions of meat and a red barrel are also still present. So the full complement of accessories!
The polystyrene plinth is in clean, bright and fresh condition.
The card box is strongly-coloured, fresh and complete with original cellophane intact.

Tiny in the print speckling to the card (as-made). Period shop stamp ’HAL’S’ at an end flap and a U.S. price label.
Notably, this example comes complete with the original, clean and fresh detachable header card/retailer card.
