Corgi 1137
Corgi 1137 Ford Tilt Cab 'H' with Detachable Trailer "Express Service". Cast wheels issue. Very near mint/boxed. With mechanic and card packing sleeve. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1966-69, this Ford articulated truck is a delight! In very close to mint condition, this truck just gleams! Complete with both wing mirrors intact (including the little reflective ‘mirror’ pieces), straight horns on the cab roof, and bright “EXPRESS SERVICE” detailing on both sides of the bright silver, untarnished sliding doors.
Version with bare metal roof horns.

So eye-catching and it comes complete with the original mechanic figure, too.
This cast wheel variation is more often found with the later card and cellophane box.
A little minor tarnishing to the wheels now. You may note a couple of light marks to the silver finish on the trailer and a couple of very minor marks to the paint finish besides. One of the letters at the sides has the tiniest mark or two.
General impression is this Ford Truck is in unused condition.
The bright pictorial card plinth on which the model sits has strong vivid colours, fresh and crisp. Little front edge ruffling to the card and a small tear to the slot for the mechanic.
The pictorial end flap box is complete and strongly-coloured. SA few stain spots , period pencilled price and light wear.
Nice to see that this example comes complete with the card wrap-around piece.
