Corgi 218
Corgi 218 Aston Martin DB4. Lemon, shaped spun wheels issue, with open bonnet vent. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce - only the second we have ever offered for sale. A rare transition model from The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1961-62, this is an intriguing transition version of the Aston Martin. At first glance, it looks relatively unassuming, until you note the particular combination of colour finish,
- shaped spun wheels, (early feature) open bonnet vent, and (transition) closed base with product number cast*.
A few minor marks to the paint finish.
The box is complete and bright with quite a crisp feel. Light wear and a period pencilled price at an end flap. Corgi Club Memberhsip Form.
Rare to come to the market-place.
