Notes
In all original condition, this Peugeot Postal Van was issued between 1954-59. Rich dark green finish throughout including the ridged wheels. Yellow ‘POSTES’ lettering at both sides in deep orange-yellow is complete (tiny as-made paint flaw to two of the letters on one side). Cross-hatching inside the roof. Bright baseplate and shiny axles.
Pleasing lustre throughout makes this an attractive display piece.
Hard to find a mark to the paint finish.
The card picture box is clean, complete and vividly-coloured. Light wear only. Delightful Paris period shop label on the top surface.
