Notes
A scarce set. Issued between 1959-63, it comprises:
i) 350 Thunderbird Missile in silver with a red plastic nose cone, on Trailer (RAF Blue finish with black plastic swivelling wheels, black plastic tow ring and metal clips to hold the missile in place). Very, very near mint.
ii) 351 Land Rover in RAF Blue finish with a tin tilt, flat spun wheels (shiny), tow hook, well-shaped original tyres and spare on the bonnet. Outstanding lustre! Couple of small marks at a rear edge. . Shiny base.
Slim outer box is complete,although note that one large end flap has been re-attached at some time. Note the printed instructions on all small end flaps. Comes complete with the original card packing sleeve! Early ‘Moorgate’ Corgi Club Membership Form is included too.
