Notes
Issued between 1948-54, this classic Dinky model has a fine burnt orange paint finish, green rollers and notably the original green rubber tracks (if a little age-affected in places) are intact and running freely!
A very few small marks only and a bright baseplate (minor ‘spidering’). This model comes with the familiar Dinky driver figure, busy at work ‘operating’ the levers.
The early buff box is very bright and fresh with a very nearly complete paper label (couple of small areas of surface loss). Pencilled surname hand written on the lid (often the shopkeeper would do this if reserved by a regular customer). Part-puncture on the base. Card packing piece:
