Notes
This is the first issue from 1961 in deep metallic blue finish with raised orange “ECURIE ECOSSE” lettering on both sides. Shaped spun wheels. Yellow interior. Grey base. A great item to display especially with a selection of Corgi racing cars from the same era – this transporter would hold three.
Difficult to find mint, since they were popular at the time – a firm favourite for ‘transporting’ Corgi cars around. This example has chipping to the paint finish mostly on the top surface and one raised side edge.
The colourfully illustrated pictorial box is bright and complete, with the three original card packing pieces.
