Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.

An unusual variation of the ‘Vanwall’ racing car made between 1958-60.
Glossy original paint finish, yellow metal driver, and green cast wheels. Silver exhaust, complete ‘Vanwall’ lettering and the occasional tiny edge nick to the racing numbers. Supple original tyres run well. Matt base.

Usual marking on the nose rim, dot tot he driver’s head, flake of paint near one of the rear racing numbers and a couple of chips to the silver exhaust detail.
The later ( lighter yellow) pictorial card box is complete if a touch grubby now.
Informative print on the box base. Very small end flap tear. Tiny age wear besides
