Notes
The first Police car made by Corgi between 1958-61, first in a blue card box and then later in a blue and yellow box.
This example has a gleaming gloss black finish, shiny shaped spun wheels, complete ‘Police’ sign on the roof (with bright POLICE labels), intact aerial and a shiny baseplate. Especially difficult to find with shaped spun wheels (usually flat spun), and in this blue and yellow box (usually blue box).
Light rubbing at side raised bodylines and the occasional little dot to the paint finish. .
The pictorial card box is clean, bright and crisp, showing minimal handling. Light wear.
Nice example of a rare Corgi variation.
