Discovered in the office of Marcel Van Cleemput the chief designer for Corgi, this is just a sample of the many ephemera items given to the MBU Collector as a thank you for his help with ‘The Great Book of Corgi’.
1)Unused original window poster from 1978 with Corgi printed in black lower case. Later Corgi dog logo in white with a red background. Eye-catching and vibrantly-coloured, with the little tab at one end too.
Approx. 32cms. including the tab.
2) Colourful circular Window Sign Mock-Up with Corgi printed in black lower case and Corgi Dog emblem. THANKS DAD lettering in the same font – so a one-off special around Father’s Day or similar. Measures approx. 16.5 cms diameter. Note the drawing pinhole in the centre – so displayed on the Corgi office wall?
Possibly a unique sample – we have never seen another.
