Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
A beautiful trio of untouched Spot-on models each in virtually mint-mint condition, each a little gem!
Note the rare colour variation too – in authentic condition, the Meadows Frisky Sport has a scarlet finish throughout. First we have ever seen.
Delightful Goggomobil has a rich deep green finish, whilst the* BMW Isetta* is a light blue shade. All three have intact number plates front and rear, shiny spun wheels, and as-new original black treaded tyres. Silver trims.
Light blue lift-off lid box with intact original cellophane window has a little wear. Small section of the Spot-on sign is missing. Period price label at one lid end.
Virtually perfect light blue card insert. Remains of the old tape which kept the lid closed visible on the box base.
