This sought-after classic Dinky tanker was issued between 1958-64, this being an early issue with diecast wheels. Vibrant red finish throughout. Tanker is tinplate with complete lettering throughout (very minor wear to transfer background in places). Complete with an intact ladder and manhole covers. *No dents in the tanker and no colour fading. A couple of small areas of ‘crazing’ on the tinplate tank.
An honest example in all original condition throughout.
Hard to find a mark to the paint finish!
The striped ‘SUPERTOYS’ box is fresh and bright. No graffiti. Little surface paper ruffling probably due to damp storage. Vibrant blue lower half of the box has no loss of vibrancy and that includes the portion not covered by the lid.
Notably complete with both original card packing pieces.
