Notes
Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
A desirable 3-piece Gift Set made between 1964-68 comprising:
i) 418 Taxi in black with fluorescent orange original details, lemon interior, driver. Shaped spun wheels. Very close to mint.
ii) 468 London Routemaster Bus ‘OUTSPAN’. More often found with the ‘Naturally Corgi Toys’ version. Jewelled headlights. Shaped spun wheels. All original vivid red finish with complete transfers on both sides. Very small ‘blistered’ area oat the rear, little chip on one of the roof ribs. No sign on the rear destination board.
