C290
Corgi 290 Kojak Buick. Very scarce authentic 'Hatless Kojak' issue. Very near mint/boxed. With both correct figures, detachable roof light and badge. From The MBU Collection.
Notes
A very sought-after early issue – this Kojak’s Buick is a bright mid-metallic bronze with 4-spoke wheels. The figure of Kojak is without a hat and also in evening dress. Note too that Crocker (in the car) is wearing a dark blue evening jacket. In the standard issue, he is wearing a light blue jacket. Little details perhaps – but very important to ensure authenticity!
A few little marks to the chrome, otherwise hard to fault.
This set comes complete with the unapplied self-adhesive badge
and the detachable roof light.
The card backdrop and card inner are complete, crisp and bright. Couple of tiny tears.
The outer box is complete and bright with vivid graphics.
No graffiti. Happily free of the expected crease at box reverse where header joins the main body of the box. Minor age/ handling wear and a couple of very small end flap tears. Notably intact original cellophane.
