Later issue with blue plastic sliding doors at ends and middle, presented in the end flap box.
This example is in original and unused condition with a day-one vibrant red and blue paint finish. None of the usual sunfading to the red or rubbing to the blue ‘Chipperfields’ lettering. Shaped spun wheels. Intact tow hook and drawbar, and the amber roof glass is intact.
Little rub at the raised detail on the roof and a small paint miss on one side edge. Couple of tiny marks besides.
Nice to see that this example has the following accessories – notably unapplied ’POLAR BEARS * LIONS transfers, a ‘Queensway’ Corgi Club Membership Form, and packing card piece.
Polar Bears & Lions are in still-sealed original packets.
Scarce end flap-style pictorial box has vivid colours on clean card. Note the several small flecks of surface loss
