Notes
A difficult find – this is the late issue with a rivet ( rather than bolt) fixing. Vivid deep green cab and chassis, deep orange back, and lighter green grooved wheels. Bright base. Working, intact hinged tailboard. Original grey, radial tyres (well-shaped). Spare stowed. ‘418 ’ cast.
Correct for this box, this model has ’Dinky Toys’ and not ‘Supertoys’ cast into the chassis.
Presents well – but note that close inspection will find several little retouches to the orange paint.
The strongly-coloured Dinky Toys box is complete. Some age/handling wear including creasing. Rusty staples.
