Issued between 1952-54.
The cab and chassis are finished in deep French blue (not violet blue), the back is finished in mid blue, grooved ‘Supertoy’ wheels are cream (more often found with red wheels). Bright baseplate has minor ‘spidering’. Fine radial tyres, including the spare.
Presents well with an attractive sheen.
Close inspection finds a few little retouches on the cab.
The dark blue picture box has a complete paper label on sound intact card. No splits or graffiti (unless you count a period pencilled price at a lid end). Touch grubby on the paper label. Minor fading to the paper label at one lid end. Card packing piece.
