Corgi 282 Mini-Cooper Rally. Very near mint/boxed. Version with BLUE-GREEN GLAZING. Scarce. From The West London Collection.
Notes
This sought-after little car was made by Corgi between 1971-74. It has a smart black and white finish with a luminous orange and black paper stripe label on the roof. Racing numbers ‘177’ on both opening doors. Bright red detailed interior, jewelled headlights, Whizzwheels with suspension. Opening bonnet and boot. Bright chrome.
Intact paper labels throughout. Note the blue-green glazing (2nd issue, early version has clear glazing).
Few tiny marks away from mint.
It comes in a bright, crisp, later ‘Rainbow’ window box with intact original smooth cellophane. Day-one vivid colours to the crisp card. Light end flap ruffling. Start of a tear.
