C218
Corgi 218 Aston Martin DB4. Lemon, shaped spun wheels issue, with open bonnet vent. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce - only the second we have ever offered for sale. A rare transition model from The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1961-62, this is an intriguing transition version of the Aston Martin. At first glance, it looks relatively unassuming, until you note the particular combination of colour finish, (later) shaped spun wheels, (early feature) open bonnet vent, and (transition) closed base with product number cast.
A few little marks and a small casting mark on the bonnet.
The box is complete, clean and right. Crisp, showing minimal handling. Light corner crumple.
Rare to come to the market-place.
