C267
Corgi 267 Batmobile. Very near mint/boxed. Sought-after early issue, correct without tow hook. The first we have ever seen with no door line casting on one side. With all packing and accessories. Includes Corgi Retailer's Printed Price Label. Another exciting Corgi model from The MBU Collection.
Notes
This early issue, gloss black Batmobile is in all original condition, complete with all original accessories. Attractive high gloss original finish. Bright chrome at cockpit and launch tubes. Intact blue tinted glass. Fine original aerial. Bat logos on the wheels and complete and bright Bat logos at both sides of the Batmobile. Suspension on all four wheels. Well-shaped original tyres.
Sensational, completely unused item (just a couple of negligible marks and it appears that no chrome was ever applied to one of the top details of the central cockpit section). The owner advises us:
" Straight from a shrink wrap belonging to Nigel Loveland. Late casting with no line on the upper half of right hand side door. Not sure if this ‘variation’ has ever been seen before?"
Inner card plinth is complete, with vivid strong colours and lots of atmospheric artwork! Tiniest tear at just one wheel slot. Original packing card still in place beneath the plinth.
The Secret Instruction Packet has never been opened! Inside, will be found are the Secret Instructions, cloth badge, and sprue of missiles . Additional small leaflet is included too.
The outer box is truly exceptional. Once removed from the Corgi Director’s shrink- wrap, it has been very carefully handled and stored. Tiniest wear only.
Close to impossible to find this good!
*Wrap-around card plinth and packing ring are included.
Original Corgi Shopkeeper’s printed price label for this model is included too.
A truly exquisite item – and with this rather mystifying casting on Robin’s door – a very unusual find.
