N194
Nicky/Dinky Toys 194 Bentley S Coupe. Metallic red version with red interior. WHITE tonneau. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce. From The Eric Slager Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A close to mint example finished in a rich metallic red shade including the interior. White tonneau. Original silver details. Driver, steering wheel, and intact screen. Shaped spun wheels and well-shaped original treaded tyres.
Little chip near a headlight and a small raised casting dot on the bonnet
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is complete, bright and clean. A little of the typical wear associated with these flimsy boxes and at some time a thin strip of tape has been attached to a seam in order to prevent tearing.
