Always an exciting Corgi toy! This issue with whizzwheels is in virtually mint condition – and the second we have offered for sale with printed age recommendation in Swedish on the box lid.
Message from the owner:
“A late issue Whizzwheel Batmobile in slimline export box with Bat Logo. Correct treaded tyres & only a sprue of missiles was included with these late issues – the instructions explained on the box instead”.
The Batmobile has a gleaming black finish, both seated figures, intact aerial and bright bat logos on both sides. Correct that this early issue has slim whizzwheels. Intact chrome dashboard, gold tow hook and metal parts . Suspension is fine on all four wheels. Correct that this issue has a fixed flame detail (earlier issues had a pulsating flame effect). Such an iconic Corgi display piece!
Complete with a sprue of original fluorescent red missiles.
Couple of minor marks only.
The outer box is bright , clean and complete with intact original cellophane. Light wear and a couple of tiny tears to the tuck-in parts of the large end flaps.
Note the Swedish printed information – a rare variation.
