Notes
An exciting iconic T.V inspired Corgi model – issued between 1968-72. This is a beautiful example in virtually mint, all original condition. Beautiful delicate roof logo is intact. Note that the radiator closes securely (often these models are found with the radiator gaping slightly even when closed). Note too that suspension is fine save for one rear wheel where it is rather soft now (it is by depressing the rear wheels that the scanners are fired from the boot).
The owner says:
" The grille shuts with a snap ( so often they gape – but not this one!) and about as perfect as I ever found."
This example comes with the full Secret Instruction Packet which has been opened carefully. So inside, expect to find the Instructions, four radar scanners and four missiles.
The very attractive inner card stand has lots of atmospheric graphics.
Very bright and fresh state, although there is a little front edge ’wrinkle" and a tiny wheel slot tear.
The outer box is crisp, clean and colourful. Extremely fresh and showing minimal handling.
Light edge crease due to the shrink wrap and a little surface mark at one box face edge. Note the two compass point-sized holes on one side too. Still a beauty!
This example comes with the white card packing piece as well as the (nearly always missing) greaseproof strip which protects the delicate roof transfer.
Included is the Corgi ShopkeeperPrinted Price label with part backing sheet. so unused.
