Notes
A fine and original example of this early version made between 1953-54 (later renumbered 981). It is cast in aluminium and has a very lustrous deep maroon paint finish, which is close to perfect. Complete lettering at both sides and above the cab.
A few marks at the drop down ramp, another couple of dots at the side ramp and a small light scratch on the roof. Little mark at a wheel arch and a dot or two besides.
It comes in the correct early deep blue box with clean and bright paper labels. Vivid, unfaded colours throughout. English only print , specifically made for the U.S. market only.
Light corner crumple and light wear besides.
