C213S
Corgi 213S 2.4 Jaguar Fire Service Car. Flat spun wheels. Very near mint/boxed (grubby). First we have ever offered for sale in this rare TRANSITION Box. From The West London Collection.
Notes
This superb Corgi car with suspension was made between 1961-62 only and is a hard model to find. Bright shining red paint finish, perfect detailed transfers on both sides, straight aerial and shiny metal “FIRE” sign on the roof with bell and siren each side, flat spun wheels with suspension. Well-shaped original treaded tyres.
Corgi period accessory number plates and tax disc have been added at some time.
The picture box is a most unusual version – note that it is the picture box for the 213 model with Corgi 215S labels at end flaps. Complete with a crisp feel, although grubby now. Period price is scribbled over at an end flap. Shopkeeper’s price is pencilled at an end flap.
A sought-after Corgi model.
