Issued between 1962-68, this off-white ambulance has a shorter red side stripe* at the sides and only the second example we have ever offered for sale with a red interior. Complete with stretcher and patient, both seated figures, intact delicate roof beacon and siren. ‘Ambulance’ window sign is intact on both sides (clear glass). Suspension on bright shaped spun wheels. Fine tread as-new tyres. Matte baseplate. Opening rear door.
The occasional tiny mark.
Bright card box is the version with one large internal end flap with a serrated strip (still in place and firmly attached). Card feels crisp. Resistant end flaps. No tears or graffiti. Light age wear only.
