N194
Nicky/Dinky Toys 194 Bentley S Coupe. Deep reddish brown version with pale lemon interior. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce. From a hand-picked collection of models in The Netherlands.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A close to mint example finished in a rich reddish-brown shade with original silver details, light lemon interior, driver, steering wheel, and intact screen. Silver and black plastic one-piece tyres/wheels.
Chip at a front wig and small mark on the other front wing.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is complete and clean. Tiny tear at the tuck-in part of one large end flap. Light wear only.
