Rare to come to the market-place, this is the first we have offered for sale in a long while. Code 1 (therefore factory made) promotional issue Berliet Beer Lorry with large ‘KRONENBOURG’ labels on both non-picture sides of the card box.
Correct for this promotional issue, the cab and chassis are finished in scarlet red with matching metal wheels and a red plastic back.
Intact stake tailboard with complete ‘KRONENBOURG, LE GRAND NOM DES BIÈRES D’ALSACE’ lettering.
Light rub toward the rear of the cab roof (caused by box contact – typically French Dinky boxes are a snug fit), and a few little dots at the front bumper.
The colourfully illustrated card box comes complete with an intact serrated tab. Colours are vibrant and the card is clean and fresh-looking. Two thumb tear on the internal end flaps at one end. Light wear besides.
Promotional labels on both non-pictures sides of the box are complete and bright.
An extremely difficult model to find.
