Monty says:
“These signs came to me from Bob Bradshaw, head of Corgi Of Canada (Qualitoys). They were made specifically for Canadian offices. I have seen a picture of this sign hanging on the wall in Qualitoys head office”.
We estimate the date of issue being 1978-1979, since this style of lettering chimes with the Corgi Catalogues available during these dates.
An extremely striking period display item composed of a tough pliable ‘perspex’ material with a high gloss finish. Corgi lettering, just like the marketing from this period (1978-79) is lower case and in white. Both faces are identical and there are four small fixing points in order to suspend this sign from a ceiling. Tiniest age wear only, this sign measures approx. 91 cms x 30cms.
