Notes
This is a popular Dinky model – one of three models in the B.B.C. T.V. range by Dinky. Made between 1959-64. Rich shining deep green paint finish throughout with a a grey waistline and matching metal hubs. Original condition throughout.
In near mint condition; with a chip at the rear edge and a light scuff on the roof. Few small marks besides and a light windscreen scratch.
BBC Television lettering on both sides and the detailed crest transfers are complete.
The bright striped Supertoys box is clean and intact with no splits, repairs or graffiti. Minor age wear and light staining at one lid end. inky stamp inside the lid dates this particular example from 1959/. Period price label at a lid end.
