Notes

Purchased by Monty Calme from a close contact of the Corgi Company. He asserts that this was a surplus example made at the time possibly intended for an employee or interested party. Note that this example with a red baize base does not have the paper label affixed to the long mahogany sides of the plinth. Indeed, they have never been applied.
100 Presentation pieces were made for the winners of The Daily Express Competition to celebrate the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977.
An accurate model with beautiful attention to detail.
