D162
Dinky 162 Ford Zephyr Saloon. Scarce lime green and cream version. Very near mint/boxed. From The Eric Slager Collection.
Notes
A fine example of a scarce variation, this Mk.1 Zephyr is finished in lime green and cream, with fawn hubs. Rear number plate detail and rear lights (all correct and original). 1956-60.
(Usual colour is deeper green and cream and is distinctly different).
Bright baseplate and well-shaped original, treaded tyres.
Few stray (tiny) dots of factory green paint visible on the cream if you want to find fault. Occasional tiny mark at side raised body line details.
The box is crisp, very clean and bright with the colour spot for the two-tone blue version (both colour issues are pictured on the box). Little shop stamp at an end flap.
Barely any wear at all.
