C267
Corgi 267 Batmobile. Wide Whizzwheel issue with MID-BLUE DASHBOARD. Very near mint/boxed. Rare late issue! Hard to find detachable header-card box. From The Monty Calme Collection.
Notes
It has been a long time since we have offered this particular version for sale.
Later example issued between 1977-79 of this extremely popular Corgi model, complete with Batman figure, chain cutter, rocket launcher, gold tow hook, straight aerial. Correct that there is no Robin figure with this later issue. Wide whizzwheels, bright bat logos on both sides of the car, intact blue tinted screens. Deep blue plastic dashboard – especially difficult to find.
In very close to mint condition (one possibly factory mark next to the chain cutter).
Complete with a set of missiles still attached to the sprue. Correct that this late issue does not have a Secret Instruction pack. Both plastic clips that fix the car to the inner are present. Deep window box is complete, bright and fresh with intact cellophane (although one side has been re-glued into place, often the glue dries out over time and the cellophane becomes loose).
Close inspection reveals that there are two little staple holes in the header card ( probably where the model was displayed in the shop). Minor edge wear at end flaps etc.
One of the most sought-after t.v/film-related Corgi toys in original and authentic condition!
