Notes
One of the most popular Corgi models ever, this is an early issue, released at the start of the production run (1965-69)

This James Bond Aston Martin is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures. Looking unused and barely handled, this example has a close to mint, all original, bright gold finish:
The 2nd issue card plinth (i.e. with arrow on the red section where the model is placed) is clean, bright, complete and crisp. Couple of wheel slots have a tear or two.
The Instruction Packet has been opened (top torn off). Complete with all accessories (badge, Instruction Leaflet and spare villain).
Secret Instructions Leaflet (detail the retractable machine guns, opening roof and ejector seat, rear bullet screen and telescopic over-riders – all have been tested and work perfectly).
“Model Car makers to James Bond’ Leaflet is also included (available with some examples).
The 1st issue outer box is clean bright and complete. Note that since it is 1st issue, there is no shading detail around the lettering ASTON MARTIN DB5 on the box face and no thick black border around the JAMES BOND’S lettering, too.
A piece of Corgi history and a nostalgic treat which is hard to resist.
