Stored away for decades, this Gift Set is part of a startling old shop stock find. Many items have never been opened until now, with some outer boxes in a close to pristine state and others showing some signs of storage wear
A sought-after Gift set made between 1966-69.
The contents are in very near mint-virtually mint condition, and comprise:
1) 490 VW Breakdown Truck
2) Silver chassis on a red trailer
3) 318 Lotus Elan S2
4) 319 Lotus Elan S2 Hard Top (note the factory assembly of the detachable chassis):
5) 155 Lotus Climax Racing Car.
With accessories: two sets of unapplied racing numbers, still-sealed bag of 16 cones, and Instructions for the detachable chassis/Corgi Club Membership Form.
Pristine polystyrene inner.
Complete outer box is strongly-coloured and clean. Intact original cellophane window. Significant corner tear and a crumple at this site with small end flap present bu detached. Another small storage crumple and a small puncture. Little edge tear.
