Re-numbered from 40J in 1954, this Austin Somerset Saloon Dinky model has a pleasing pale blue finish with mid-blue ridged wheels and a bright baseplate.
Fine original silver detailing at radiator, bumpers and headlights Tiny rub at the front bumper if you want to find fault, and a mere dot besides.
The box is crisp and vividly-coloured, with all end flaps intact. Couple of tiny punctures to the box underside, and a scuff on one box face. Light crease and minor wear besides. Shopkeeper’s period prices at an end flap. Correct colour spot (later issues would be assigned an ‘in the print’ light blue colour spot).
