Corgi Gift Set 27 Machinery Carrier & Priestman Shovel Gift Set. Very near mint/boxed. With Operating Instruction Leaflet. From a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic collector in South London.
Notes
This fine two-piece Gift Set from Corgi is always popular with collectors. This example is in all original and unused condition comprising:
a) Corgi 1128 Priestman Cub Shovel. In close to mint condition with just a couple of little marks. Very fine lustre. Intact original black rubber tracks. Perfect ‘Priestman Cub’ transfer at the side and rear of the vehicle. Mechanism for raising and lowering the jib works well. Cab containing driver is glazed.
b) Corgi 1131 Bedford TK Machinery Carrier. In very close to mint condition and notably complete with both wing mirrors, including the little reflective ‘mirror’ pieces. Very fine lustre. Black detachable rear axle and moveable ramps. Spun shaped hubs. As-new tyres. Bright metal parts. Lovely example, complete with both spare tyres. Couple of tiny marks only.
Box base is made of polystyrene and is fresh and bright with light blue Corgi Toys lettering.
Minor shelf grubbiness on the underside.
The colourful pictorial lid is strongly-coloured and intact, looking fresh and clean. Period price is pencilled on the lid.
This example comes complete with the often missing Instruction Leaflet.
