Dinky 402
Dinky 402 Bedford 'Coca-Cola' Truck. Near mint plus/boxed. Sought-after model from The BST Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1966-69, this Bedford Truck is in all original condition with a vivid red and white finish, complete load of crates, and intact paper labels throughout. Paper labels have the usual age transparency .
Lovely unmarked white roof.
Looks barely handled with none of the expected marking to the white front bumper either.
Few tiny marks to the paint finish. Little rub to the rear paper label.
The attractive pictorial end flap box is clean, bright and complete. Nearly always with torn end flaps due to the weight of the model inside these comparatively flimsy boxes. Little tear to the tuck-in part of one large end flap. Small flecks of surface loss on one non-picture side due to the removal of a shop label at some time. Still presents well with the decorative period scene proving a fine backdrop to this Bedford Truck.
A desirable Dinky item which is getting scarce.
