Authentic three piece factory mould for Corgi Batmobile. With photographic provenance of Marcel Van Cleemput.
Notes
We sold this item to the present owner several years ago, as part of a collection we sold on commission for a collector friend of Marcel Van Cleemput, Chief Designer for Corgi.
We are delighted to see this unique piece again.
The present owner, during a meeting with Marcel Van Cleemput, had it authenticated by him, and so he was happy to pose for this photograph.
This 3 piece item measures approximately 22cms long x 8.5 cms wide. It is composed of cream coloured resin. We can confirm that it is the original factory mould for Corgi Junior E69 from 1976.
An exceptionally rare piece of Corgi history.
