Looking just like the production issue (1970-73), in metallic green-gold paint finish with blue-tinted glass – but note the louvred section – this colour trial piece has a bronze louvred section, whereas the production version is in silver.
Cream interior on this colour trial piece (production version in either maroon or green-gold had a white interior) .Jewelled rear lights, number plates.
Originally sold through Bonham’s Auction House, one of the items in lot number 368, December 2009. Part of the sale of items from an ex-Corgi employee.
