In very fine, all original condition, this is a most eye-catching and sought-after Dinky Gift Set.
It comprises:

1) 231 Maserati. Very near mint.

2) 232 Alfa Romeo. Very, very near mint.

3) 233 Cooper Bristol. Very near mint.

4) 234 Ferrari. Near mint (couple of chips on the nose of the car and a light rub on the driver’s head.

5) 235 HWM. Very near mint. Couple of stray flicks of factory silver and a couple of dots to the paint finish.

Buff card insert has minor marking caused by the models. Certainly, no tears or graffiti.

Attractive clean and bright lift-off lid box has no corners repairs or heavy edge rubs.

Faint surface scratch on the lid and note the paper loss at both long ends of the lid where the tape which held the box closed was removed at some time. Vibrant rich blue card base.

Dinky stamp inside the lid dates this particular example from 1957. No top card packing piece with this example.
