Notes
Issued between 1958-60 and a difficult set to find in any condition.
It comprises:
1) Corgi 351 R.A.F. Land Rover. Tin canopy and flat spun wheels, including spare. Tow hook. Occasional little mark e.g. at windscreen surround and at a rear light detail.
2) Corgi 1115 Bristol Ferranti Bloodhound. Scarce yellow-finned version. Nose cone is notably intact. Very little marking to the paint finish. One of the best we have seen.
3) Corgi 1116 Launching Ramp looks completely unused. Bright metal parts throughout. Hard to fault.
4) Corgi 1117 Bloodhound Loading Trolley. Working well. Lovely finish. Bright metal parts. Looks unused.
The colourful outer box presents well with strong colours on the clean card. Minor age wear and note that one of the lid seams has been carefully repaired. Complete with both upper and lower packing pieces.Nice to see that the Rocket Age Leaflet is included – lots of details and pictures of this military range. Also the Bloodhound Guided Missile Instructions and Corgi Club Membership Form.
