Notes
This classic early Foden truck has such a fine rich brown finish, with a silver flash and black chassis, black original herringbone tyres. Correct that this early issue has no tow hook.
Presents very well indeed. Issued between 1947-48.
Base is complete and bright with spare wheel affixed:
Barley a mark to the paint finish, although minute scrutiny reveals the occasional very minor later dab of well-matched paint (not really visible with the naked eye).
The early buff box has a complete and bright paper label. No seam tears. No graffiti. Note the rubbing at one lid side. Minor wear besides.
These early Foden models are becoming increasingly hard to find.
