Notes
This eye-catching Comet Wagon has an all original vivid deep green cab and chassis, deep orange back, and lighter green grooved wheels. Issued between 1956-59 under this numbering.
Pleasing lustre and shiny metal parts. Note that this model has been in one position (probably in its box, because there is now fading whatever to the colour), since each of the original light grey tyres has developed a flat spot. Correct for this box, this model has ‘Dinky Toys’ and not ‘Supertoys’ cast into the chassis. 532 cast into the orange back underneath (an earlier Dinky numbering).
Few little marks to the paint finish only.
The striped Dinky Toys box has such vivid, bright colours! Little shelf rubbing to the deep blue base underside. Grubbiness on the inside of the box base (will probably clean off). Rusty staples. Small surface paper tear on one side of the lid.
