Notes

An early classic Foden model – and a difficult find in this mid-blue finish with a black chassis and silver flash. An early issue, so correct without a tow hook or tank slits on the underside and correctly presented in the first buff box with a paper label. Such a vibrant and distinctive colour, this Foden presents well, especially with those early herringbone tyres!
20mph sign in place on a rear wheel arch.

Bright baseplate and axles and that includes the ends.

A few marks on the cab roof. Fine lIght edge rubbing at wheel arches (minor). A few minor marks besides.
The early buff card box has a delightfully vivid paper label. Clean and fresh-looking with no repairs or tears. Period inked price at one end. Factory ‘B’ stamp nearby denoting colour of model. Minor wear including the usual rusting at the staples. Factory stamp on the underside of the box base. So the correct box for this model (not a later swap). Note the number ‘3’ on the lid partly blotted out with white ‘Tippex’ or similar.
