Another exceptional find. This model was sold by us to ‘Monty Calme’ in 2006 and came from the Austrian Collection which included rare prototype models (including several which came directly to him from Marcel Van Cleemput, Chief Designer for Corgi).
This Land Rover model with suspension is finished in saffron yellow with a lemon interior, and an orange plastic canopy. Note too the later style base. The released version in saffron yellow (a rare find) has a red interior and an earlier style base. Prototype model has a screwed base (typical of prototype models).
This version was never issued.
Occasional little mark to the paint finish.
