Notes

Issued between 1958-63 and comprises Dinky Supertoys 984 and 985, this is an impressive set for your collection in all original condition. This two-part set has a vivid bright shining finish, and extremely bright metal parts throughout. Obviously never played with or indeed handled very much.

Both items have just the occasional minor mark.
The “DINKY AUTO SERVICE” lettering is perfect on both sides of both models. The top deck of the car carrier can be raised and lowered by turning the handle at the side – this works well. Eight Dinky cars can be accommodated on the carrier and trailer. What a great display piece in your collection!
The very large box is clean, bright and fresh-looking. Such a large card box nearly always sustains wear at corners etc. – this example has a few very small scuffs and light wear.

Notably, it comes complete with a large inner card packing piece (couple of tears) as well as three thicker card wedges (original) which secure the items in place.
