Sold to ?Monty Calme? by QDT in 2006 from a landmark Corgi collection compiled by an enthusiast in Austria.
This is a rare 2nd type version with fixed tow hook and fitted with red spot wheels with gold surround.
The Batmobile has a lustrous original gloss black finish, straight aerial, intact blue screens, both seated figures of Batman and Robin. Bright chrome at cockpit and launch tubes. All gadgets function.
Note the rounded fins typical of this later issue.
There are a few little marks at some exposed edges, as one might expect.
