C200
Corgi 200 Ford Consul Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Very crisp early box. Scarce cream issue from 'The Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
We are very pleased to offer for sale the first Corgi model issued in 1956 – in cream without the motorised flywheel. This model is in fresh, original condition in cream with flat spun hubs and a bright baseplate. Simple clean lines and a shining cream finish on this first Corgi model (with windows, of course):
Shiny tinplate base and very fine original tyres.
Just a very few tiny marks.
This model comes with its early blue picture box, feeling very crisp indeed, showing minimal handling wear. Hard to find these early blue picture boxes this fresh. Very minor wear only., including a light storage crease at an end flap.
