C405
Corgi 405 Bedford "Utilecon" A.F.S. Tender. Near mint/boxed. Bright mid-green version. Crisp early picture box. Scarce. From 'The Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
A delightful early Corgi model – hard to believe this model was first made during 1956. With a bright, lustrous, mid green paint finish and complete ‘AFS’ transfers on both sides, flat spun wheels.
Complete with both ladders and intact, untarnished fitting on the roof. Baseplate is bright too.
Very few tiny marks to the paint finish. Note the addition of period Corgi accessory labels (tax disc and number plates).
The early blue picture box is bright and complete, feeling very crisp. Minor age/handling wear only. Penned number at an end flap.
